Delicious lamb dish, low in sodium, nutritious, and easy to prepare.
Ingredients
  • 500 gm NZ Spring Lamb – Lean Ground Lamb, frozen : thawed
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 796 ml can Aylmer No-Salt Added Diced Tomatoes with Italian Spices
  • 1 540 ml can Life Smart No Salt Six Bean Mix
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Mrs. Dash Original Blend, to taste
Instructions
  1. Heat Olive Oil in a large pan, add Onion and Garlic and cook until transparent
  2. Add Lamb, cook over medium heat until browned and liquid is reduced
  3. Add canned Tomatoes, Pepper and Mrs Dash, put lid on pan and cook over low heat for 30 minutes
  4. Add drained and rinsed canned Beans, cook for another 10 minutes.
Notes
Yield: approximately 7 cups.

Serve with potatoes, or rice, or fresh bread.
