Tata Rejects Jaguar SUV

Posted in Jaguar on October 24th, 2008

Car Today reports that in an interview with German Motoring publication Auto Telegraaf, Ratan Tata stated that the company will likely not be adding an SUV to the line-up of its newly-acquired luxury brand. Given that a Jaguar SUV would be in direct competition to Land Rover, and that global sales of SUVs are tanking, this makes sense. Not much news in this at all really.

Jaguar : Paris, 2008

But the car is just allowed to speak for itself in Paris - no ‘happy birthday’ signs, no special ‘60 years’ logo - it just looks incredibly chic, elegant, understated, and cool.

Hibernation Over

I’ve been away from the Blog for a few weeks, but now I’m back. My absence was mostly the result of a cold that turned into a nasty bacterial infection that has attacked my ears, sinuses, throat and chest and left me in no fit state to do much of anything. I don’t recommend it.

The next few entries will be catch-up, and may be old news as I post them now.
